Ferrari has always been synonymous with style, speed, and sophistication, but the new Roma Spider has taken these qualities to a new level. The Ferrari Roma Spider is the convertible version of the stunning Roma coupe, which debuted in 2019 as a tribute to Rome's glamorous and carefree lifestyle in the 1950s and 60s. The Roma Spider is also the first front-engined Ferrari with a soft top since the legendary 365 GTS4 of 1969, also known as the Daytona Spider.
The Ferrari Roma Spider preserves the sleek and harmonious coupe design but adds a touch of flair and freedom with its retractable fabric roof. The soft top can be opened or closed in just 13.5 s at speeds up to 37 mph and is available in various colors and materials to suit different tastes and preferences. The soft top also allows for more trunk space and versatility than a hardtop.
The Roma Spider's beauty is not only skin deep, however. Under its sculpted hood lies a powerful, award-winning, 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 612 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission that offers smooth and rapid shifts and improved fuel efficiency. The Ferrari Roma Spider can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of over 200 mph.
